About Verragio

With over fifteen years of experience designing fine jewelry, Barry Verragio is known for his high quality, innovative and elegant creations in engagement rings and wedding bands. It was, however, his actual romance with the love of his life, Tanya, that inspired the Verragio collection.

Having studied at the prestigious Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City, Barry enhanced his natural designing abilities, and set out to create a new technique in a mounting that suspends the diamond above the allowing radiant light to emanate from the diamond.

Barry named the new mounting “Lumino Setting.” When Barry presented the one-of-a-kind ring to Tanya, the joy and reaction Barry saw in her face showed that it was more than just the engagement ring, it was a “commitment.” The affects of how platinum allows you to see the diamonds beauty, with attention to detail and design is what makes Verragio an elegant contemporary classic. Designer Barry Verragio explains: “A beautiful mounting should only enhance the beauty of a diamond in the same way a beautiful dress makes a woman even more beautiful.” This philosophy is reflected in all Verragio rings.
