About Rhonda Faber Green

Award-winning jewelry designer Rhonda Faber Green, the creative force behind Rhonda Faber Green Designs, clearly loves hearts, diamonds and filigree. They appear throughout her creative endeavors. Rhonda is an artist's artist. She has had a pencil in her hand since childhood, and she comes by it naturally. The daughter of a toy designer for Mattel, she is passionate about painting. Working in oils and acrylics, she paints on canvas, ceramics, furniture, silks, as well as other medium. Also a calligrapher, even her envelopes are works of art.

After graduating from UCLA, Rhonda joined the merchandising department of Max Factor, developing new products and creating shades and promotions for the LA-based international cosmetic company. Three years later, she applied her marketing and design skills to the jewelry business, helping build one of the country's largest privately owned jewelry stores. "I learned the business - jewelry and retail - from the ground up. For 10 years, I did everything from creating the company logo to buying, selling and designing jewelry. I learned what sells and how to sell it."

In 2002, the Rhonda Faber Green - Kazanjian partnership was created. Rhonda states: "In terms of inspiration, my mind never shuts off. I get inspired by such things as nature, and compelling architecture. My designs are modern, yet timeless. I design pieces that are versatile and can be worn all the time, forever." Giving back to the community is important to Rhonda, who has served on the Board of the Maple Counseling Center, and also served on the Board of Governors. She is a founding member of the Women's Auxiliary Board of the Kayne-Eras Center, and a contributor to numerous charities. A Los Angeles native, she holds a B.S. degree in Psychology from UCLA. She has been married to attorney Stanley Green since 1996 and they have three children between them.
